Satya: Interesting comparision of India Weekly and India Plaza.

SKnath: seems most betwwen India Weekly and Nehaflix are similar and I found a few lower at Nehaflix

India Weekly Nehaflix

Golmaal 11.99 5.99
Naseeb 9.99 5.99
Kaun 9.99 5.99
Taal 13.99 11.99
Hum Sath Sath Hai 14.99 11.99
Judaai 11.99 9.99

Thats all I checked so far...............................

Seems Nehaflix's shipping charges are less than India Weekly also.

As Neo said Nehaflix has free shipping sometimes. For current free shipping coupon look on forums at http://www.anandtech.com

Hey Shararat.... welcome :-
Did you read Indiaweekly's first statement ?

Lowest Price Guarantee: If you find a lower price from a legitimate competitor on the Internet on an identical item we stock, please email us the URL of the product/item page, we'll not only meet that price, we'll beat it by 10%

So if you are interested in buying those DVDs.. then please do it right now lest Nehaflix change thier prices !! Which makes it Déja Vu ! IW still beats the shit outta the rest :)

(S&H included)

Please avoid Naseeb as BABA is a shit DVD company !

why the hell UK people get most advantages yo....they get free s&h.....how come they dont do that to U.S. customers?

UK customers definitely don't get free S&H (if they do, then I've been missing out on something!!!). I have to pay a handling fee of $2 per item and I think the shipping charge is $6-7. As for the DVDs being cheap, maybe you've heard that from UK customers - even with the S&H charges, IW works out to be cheaper than any of the UK based stores for most titles.

Hope that clears a few things up.

actually it wasnt sarcasm from me sknath!
I agreed that the argument was sound!

i order stuff from India weekly all the time
but that doesnt mean i can't complain about shippin and handling charges!!!!! most other (english) web sites dont charge a flat fee per dvd, order more it costs less for handling etc

if you want to be a lot of dvds (UK) IW are ok but if you just want a couple then http://www.asiansounds.com is probably better
although IW seem to have more 2 disc versions ie hum kissise kum nahin is a 1 disc one for £13.50 with AS but for $18.99 a 2 disc version at IW

pay your moneys take your choice

Not quite true. I've ordered from Asiansounds a couple of times and the prices displayed are not what you pay for the DVD - prices on the site exclude VAT & shipping. £13.50(dvd)+£2.36(vat)+£1(p&p)=£16.86 for Hum Kisise Kum Nahin. Yes I did pay £21.56 for GVI Gadar DVD :stupid:

At the end of the day it is very much a case of ‘pay your moneys take your choice’ only that depending on where you are the choices aren’t that great and the price you pay is more often than not more than it should be. In my experience (and I’ve brought from most of the major Indian DVD stores) all offer a good service (with the exception of one, but I won’t mention names as someone will bite my head off :gob: ), only prices and shipping methods differ.

<s>I find IW as the best on the web as well. Not neccessarily they be the best, as everyone has their own taste.</s>

I bought from them and will continue buying from them as long as their service standard stays consistent. I bought from indiancdstore, nehaflix they are good as well. Not all the shop follow the same IW policy of price-matching, therefore not all are IW.

just know: only smart ones can make the smart moves.

inida weekly is not all that ok....its been a long time i ordered from there.....so i dont have any tracking # or any of their reciept...usually when i get anything from anywhere, i throw them out....if u want to believe me or not satya, its up to you...most of my dvds are from indiaweekly....some of the dvds are costly than other sites because they all come with the inside inlet and they are 5.1 channel.....and same dvd at indiaweekly, they sell it for $5 because that dont contain all that....common yo, if you are a movie lover and if you want your dvds in the finisest quality and sounds and want to get everything that u get with dvd, why u want to buy from indiaweekly??? i would rather pay little more then if thats the actual cost and thats how much u have to pay to get the finest made dvd....i had lot of problems in the past...it sounds cheaper when u purchase it, and when u get it and when its the wrong one or something wrong with the dvd, you will have to pay extra to send it back and they dont refund that..they just give u a new dvd....so lets see...i pay $5 for that dvd, if that comes defective $1.25 to send it back = $6.25 which i think thats what other site was selling the same dvd for....and plus if u buy 2 or more u get free S & H over there....and thats what i usually do....i buy more than 2 dvds and usually one or 2 comes messed up....it ends up i pay more.....well thats my experience with indiaweekly.....believe it or not....they do that.....i dont have a tracking # or a reciept cause its been almost an year i got something from them....:)

Not having any receipt # or Tracking no # is no irony:

How come you didn't promote who your buy your dvds from, maybe others can have their 5.1 and inlet of their dvds as well for a change.

i remember i got couple dvds from them baba titles, they didn't have inlets and picture was bad, i dont understand why indiaweekly make dvds like that. o well, soon i learn from here, dei makes good print, so i still bought from indiaweekly some dei titles, and beleive me they were good picture with good sound.

sometime indiaweekly's prices suck so what i do is to go to nice places like where you go and ask indiaweekly to match the damn price and they obey me and give me 10% discount of the lower price. i find that cool and give my business to IW. dont' know about others.

just because u had a good relationship with indiaweekly doesnt mean everyone else gets the same....about the part "i remember i got couple dvds from them baba titles, they didn't have inlets and picture was bad, i dont understand why indiaweekly make dvds like that." honey...indiaweekly dont make dvds....it only promotes other brands....anyways yes its true they give discounts if someone elses price was less than theirs...but that is not what i am arguing about.....their s & h its too much.....and when i get something defective, cant they atleast refund what i am paying to send it back....i paid the full amount for DVD and i am expecting a original un-defective dvd with compelete inlet and everything that comes with the box and dvd......its their responsibility to send the good one to customers...if they did not, then why cant they refund my money? every one will send u a new dvd....thats not anything to joy about.....say i get 10 dvds from indiaweekly.com right....then 2 comes out to be messed up....i already got charge over $100 bucks right....then i will have to pay again some extra $3 - $4 back to ship them....they dont refund that....that is what i dont like....they do give another dvd back..and yes they will match prices with other stores....thats not what i am arguing about....

Master_J... before you posted this stuff here... did you *care* to call Afzal @ Indiaweekly ? Are you saying that *Afzal* refused to credit your CC back ? If this is the case I have serious reservations abt this, and if this is not, then you have erred on ur judgement.
As for you claims on S&H... IW has one of the lowest (next to free shipping but they compensate that with their low prices on thier DVDs) shipping rates which can be matched only by Nehaflix , thats all !

Order number is not the only way to track a customer. I'm sure you will have a real customer name OR email address which you still remember after a year! Indiaweekly always pays for the return postage incase of defective DVDs. If you are telling the truth then why don't you present your real name/email address and we will ask IW to pull your order information from their database. Is there any reason not to back your statement by proof (which would be a customer name OR an email address)?

You do not like to post any info about yourself but you like to badmouth others without any proof! How about emailing your information to sknath or Ali instead of posting here?
