Not a bad print from when I rented it. I expected less.
As for the film, once again, can only be described as a watered-down LOBS. Same story, much less impact.

The actor that played Bhagat Singh was pretty good. I as well liked the actor that played Sukhdev, and even the guy that played Azad (though he was quite over-the-top).

To describe in detail what I mean by less of an impact, there is one scene that's shared in-common between the two films:

During the fast, led by Bhagat Singh, the men wouldn't eat food or drink anything with nutreints. One day, instead of a bowl of water, they are left a bowl of milk to tempt them.

In LOBS, a man picks up the milk as it nears his mouth, and we can see the raw emotion displayed on his face. His strong desire and need for water almost drives him to betray his comrades. He then tosses the milk down in a heated frenzy, and goes off and start crying. This scene gives off the impact of the sacrifice these men had made. The scene continues with a wonderfully-placed "Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna"

In Shaheed-E-Azam, the same thing happens, except there's almost no emotion, and it seems to be only routine.
