vj.... Previously I used to get amused by Predator Mum's shenanigans vis-a-vis Jolly, but now I understand (in retrospect) what kind of a person Jolly is...

1.) Untrustworthy
2.) Abrazen
3.) Immoral

and when you have a person with all these things you can expect such JOKES (the "Remastered GADAR DVD") thrust on you....

I havent had the misfortune of buying anything from his store and also I will spread the word around also...and now in addition I urge you not to trust anything he says vis-a-vis the so called Promised DVDs etc.. A bunch of pathetic liars..

I was hoping so much on this DVD but a 1 year wait has gone to waste !

(Sandish @ DEI also has to be blamed..for not living upto his promise of a DTS version of TNBP and hence giving us a rare chance to see FADDY's VITAL parts ) ...

Just do not trust anything these folks say.... (which is sad in a way....) as their credibility has reached absymally low !

SHAME on JOLLY and the MUPPETs++ @ GVI for unleashing such a heartache on DVD lovers like us :vangry:

Didn't watch all of it but looks like the typical promotional stuff 'Gadar is good', 'music is magical', 'it's different' - loads of arse kissing and self appraisals - very little insight into the movie making.

Irrelevant Question, as both Gadar DVD releases are equally bad and hence not worthy for collection, but is either of the DVDs from a progressive source?? Just curious.

Videosound version is not from progressive source. But if you didn't watch it probably for $6.99 is not a bad buy as the PQ won't distract you that much. It is not as misty/foggy as EROS stuff.

No definitely not from a progressive source. The GVI version looks from re-processed Video Sound DVD. And the irregularities in running time is either due to the improper NTSC to PAL to NTSC conversions or something has been cut someplace. I for one cannot be bothered watching either version to find out. Oddly the once passed on the BBFC site has a running time of 185m 58s.

jolly never had the attention of gettin this remastered, he will lie to people here, his customers and do anything sell this dvd!!! his site describes it as a 3DVD set!!! wot a con artist!! he also telling his customers this is an remastered much better than VS dvd!! i have emails from customers where naresh aka jolly has replied to customers saying this is a anamorphic dvd with 5.1 sound!! lowest lowlife of the third kind!!!

How many will be willing to pay, say, $100 for a limited release LAGAAN quality Gadar DVD??
