Bump for this, finally caught both films back to back. First DVD is total trash but the second part DVD is quite decent and much better than the first (DVD quality not the film!).
The film itself is amazing, loved the backdrop, music, the characters and changing of the time through the 3 generations story span. I think this is a new benchmark for Indian films, I had doubts whether Anurag Kashyap could ever top Black Friday but I think he does it with Gangs Of Wasseypur. The remarkable long opening take sets the standard for the rest of the film which get better and better. With all the fuss made over the release of Paanch, Gangs Of Wasseypur if a lot more raw and brutal.
And it has a character called “Definite†– just genius!
