Sure HAQEEQAT was a great film. But:

Moreover can't makeup my mind whether to praise the efforts to revive old great classic by people sentenced for life.

The trial court had, in 2001, acquitted Ketan and Vivek of murder charges, but
convicted them for abetment of an offence punishable with life imprisonment or death (under Section 115 of IPC). The court awarded life imprisonment to both. Their domestic helps-Mala Chowdhary and Ashok Chinaswamy-were held guilty of both conspiracy and murder. They too were sentenced to life. The four moved high court in 2002 against the trial court verdict. The HC had then granted them bail.
