Was glad to find a "Friends" DVD (Big "Friends" watermark throughout the film) of this film that I never found before even on a VHS and wanted to see it since VHS days.

Opening CC (1970) shows a film length aprox 3960 meters (144 min).

(I thought I saw this film 1967-68 ??)

As I scanned the film quickly, couldn't find some notable scenes but couldn't recall what's missing.

For orig film @ 144 min, DVD is 133 min (138 min film time @ 4% speed difference). So 5-6 min is missing.

Bachpan songs are avail at Smashits site and comparing with DVD song menu found one song missing and I think this is the song that I remembered this movie for ??
It's Zulmi Baalma Ne Pagli Mera Naan Rakh Diya. The song audio is 5 min 20 sec and will account for the run time discrepancy.

Bachpan film is also avail on Youtube (B4U watermark) and this song should be @ around 50-55 min video time (52-57 min film time).

Friends DVD seems same print (content & quality) as the Youtube B4U version (except for different watermark). Perhaps a EROS-B4U DVD also exists or will be avail sometime.

Prefix to this song is avail in this link (beginning) and perhaps the romantic portion (Pagli song) that follows, is all cut.

Any expert of "late 60s - early 70s" Hindi films, remember this film or that Pagli song ?? Do you recall the scene ?? Is it picturized in rain that I think it was ??
I remember Sanjev Kumar drunk and Tanuja singing, both drenched/ rolling in heavy rain. Prefix to this song as I mentioned above, does show Sanjeev Kumar drinking.
