I have the Shemaroo DVD of Baghban which I brought back with me from India.

The video is presented in 16*9 (2.35.1 Aspect Ratio)
Audio is Dolby digital 5.1
DVD comes in a collectors box with a colorfull booklet, which has all chapters marked out with colorfull pixs.

The picture quality is really good.

Looks like Shemaroo has caught onto to making new releases on DVD in 16*9 (hopefully this will continue)

Screenshots to follow in 1-2 days

Are there also shots of the Eros-version so that one can compare? Though this Shemaroo-version looks really good, I must say. It looks more detailed than the regular Indian DVD. :)

The Eros version is really bad.
Is there English subtitles on the Shemaroo version ? Is it anamorphic ?

My friend just got me this DVD from Bombay. The PQ is definitely much better than the EROS version. Sound in 5.1 is also quite good, besides there is a stereo track option as well.
Though, there are some problems with this DVD. I am not quite sure if it is just my DVD or all the Baghban Shemaroo DVD's. The sound during the movie sometimes dissapears for a few seconds and then comes back on, this problem is not that annoying during the movie but when u click on the special features, it gets really awful and u can barely hear anything as the sound switches off and then turns back on. Anybody have any problems like this on this DVD, or is it just my copy.
Thanks
