From the above replies, I can see there can be quite a few cases like this. I wopuldn't say any of the answers is incorrect. But, I was referring to a different film.

Obviously I didn't phrase the question correctly. Actually, I was referring to a 1950s B/W film that was given an Adult CC and it's heroine was not 18. She was turned back from the theatre. I don't know if it was the premiere show or just a regular show at some theatre. The incident was well known.

There may be more than one instances like this, but I was referring to NUTAN in Paying Guest (Dev Annand and Nutan).

Anyway - that song 'Mungda' is sung by Usha Mangeshkar and it is from the film 'Inkaar'.

I recall, Paying Guest was given an 'A' CC. Perhaps that's by 1957 standards ??

Mungda song is from Inkaar (1977) as I checked a few links. But, I found this song, almost a full 'item number' in 1984 film ANDAR BAHAR. Andar Bahar is directed by Rajan Sippy while Inkaar was directed by Raj Sippy. Perhaps both Sippies are related and Rajan Sippy must have obtained permission from Raj Sippy.

BTW, imdb site has, in addition to Kim, Kimi Katkar in Andar Bahar credits ?? There are a few actresses appearing as guest artists but I didn't spot Kimi Katkar ?? Any confirmation on Kimi Katkar role in Andar Bahar ??
