He was Strangulated.. He was a large man..would have taken someone strong to take him on....Now I wonder who was a strong man and also in close proximity to him ?

India is in BEEG trouble........ "Fernando to Tendulkar, OUT, and Tendulkar goes! Could this be his last World Cup innings? The ball pitched outside off stump, nipped back, Tendulkar lunged forward, the ball hit the top of the pad and crashed into leg stump, huge huge wicket for Sri Lanka and India are fading away. " Tendulkar...DUCK! :shock: .....India ...44-3! ...............................UPDATE>>>>>>>>>>>India>>>>>>> 112-5. If I were the Indian coach I'll get myself a couple of bodyguards or hop the next flight out and high tail it back to India, or Australia or where ever! :lol: Oouch! make that 112-6...Dhoni gone..LBW! :roll:

Missed most of this match today :x Result, Sri Lanka 254-6 (50 ovs) bt India 185 (43.3 ovs) by 69 runs. Which means there is still a remote hope for India if Bermuda beat Bangladesh on Sunday and then run-rates will decide.

Other match, West Indies 190-2 (38.1 ovs) bt Ireland 183-8 (48 ovs) by 8 wkts (D/L method).

Australia....322-6 ( 50 overs ) Rain delay, continuing tomorrow. Windies have a big score to chase, but I think it's doable, have my fingers crossed....... :wink:

Bad field placement, the way Malinga bowled the last over, a slip should have been in place. I feel the Captain didn't put enough pressure on . You got two tail enders at the wicket, about 11 deliveries and two runs needed what would you do. I think the Captain was betting on Malinga hitting the stumps and hence the importance of field placement went out the window. Windies should have and could have won that game! Big dissapointment, lets see how they fare today! :roll:

Not well it seems;

West Indies 177 all out v New Zealand 36-1

... the hosts are heading out of the competition.
