As VLC Media Player was installed on my PC, what was stored as VOB files (Power DVD) show as VLC files now. I don't think video files or code changed in any form.

Looks like Video Media Player is a very agressive program that hogs on to your PC. It automatically changed all audio video settings to start playing automatically with VLC player. I had to change them back to the player that I wanted them to play default. But, explorer still shows them as VLC files and not VOB files??
