Anyone remember this children's magazine. It was the top childrens magazine, in India, until mid 1970s or may be even later for many many years(published till 2013). No other childrens magazine even came close. In the 1960s, Times Of India group started PARAAG but was no where close to Chandamama in popularity.
Started by famous film personalities B.Nagireddy & Chakrapani. Published in many languages.

Later on, the magazine was sold in order to take it into digital age but it went into difficulties and it ceased publication instead, and even the domain name expired.

Today, I came across this website, run by volunteers and it has each and every issue of this magazine. WOW!

Never even in my remote expectations did I ever imagine that all this will be available and that too, free.

Noticed in the news today. He passed away at age 97.
