There's an interesting thing about the climax in Qurbani... Shakti Kapoor has trapped the two heroes and is making a choice who to kill first... and laughs maniac-ally. And one hero steps forward for the Qurbani.

Ditto climax in Janbaaz... Shakti again has the two heroes trapped... and is making the who-to-kill-first-choice, laughing villainously... and again one hero steps forward for the sacrifice....

Not really ..., Hollywood has been in the remake mode for the past few years - its only "natural" that bollywood shits the same way hollywood does ;) ;)

Now, it's turn for another remake, Bombay To Goa

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All eyes on Bombay to Goa remake

IndiaFM | Thursday, 16 March , 2006, 19:24

The remake trend is getting popular in Hindi film industry. While following the same bandwagon, filmmaker Raj Pendharkar has began with 70’s hit Bombay to Goa. However the new version will have an interesting cast. They are not trained actors but the finalists from the Great Indian Laughter Challenge show. Actor Jackie Shroff on Tuesday came to the Chor Bazar on the sets to flag off the film.
The director, Raj Pendharkar seems to be thrilled with the idea. According to him the themes and situations may be draw liberally from the original. At the same time he believes in the new technology that will set his film apart from the original movie.

What can be a great start for the finalists of Great Indian Laughter Challenge than this! Let’s hope they will create their magic in films too.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How about the changing the title of this tread to Remakes of Bollywood films?
