**I caught theatric preview!! Looked to me another company! But main actor looked promising!

Randeep Hooda made waves with his very first movie, Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding (remember Rahul Chadha, the non-resident Indian who is constantly bullied by Naseeruddin Shah?).
But after that, Hooda disappeared from the silver screen, apart from the occasional mention in gossip columns as being Sushmita Sen's boyfriend.

After almost four years, the actor is finally back with his next film, D.

Another product of Ram Gopal Varma's Factory, D will release on June 3.

This prequel to Ramu's earlier film, Company, also stars Rajpal Yadav, Sushant Singh, Isha Koppikar and Rukhsar.

Hooda, the new man women across the country are swooning over, spoke to Patcy N about his film, and riding a scooter without brakes.

RGV says its not a prequel.

---Excerpt---
There's a lot of buzz about the film being a prequel to Company. It's not officially a prequel, is it?

See, it's not a prequel to Company in terms of the characters and the story. But it is a prequel to Company in spirit. What I mean by is that if Malik (the mob boss, played by Ajay Devgan) was there already in Company, how did he become Malik? How did he reach that stage?

So D is about a guy who starts off somewhere, and he's a very thinking kind of a guy. He's not an emotional person; he doesn't react to situations. Instead, he's virtually choreographing the situations. So it's a development of a character. That's the reason that everyone is assuming this is a prequel to Company. But in reality, the film is not connected to Company at all.
