'Victoria 203' remake?

Remakes are in fashion! Remember the exploits of Pran and Ashok Kumar in the 1972 blockbuster 'Victoria 203'? Priyadarshan is set to remake the film with Om Puri and Paresh Rawal! The film's romantic leads will be played by Riteish Deshmukh and Rimi Sen.

The original had Navin Nischol and Saira Banu in the lead roles. Priyadarshan's remake will be titled 'Maalamal Express'. Priyan (as he is fondly called) plans to release it by December of this year.
