Is It ??

Plot looks exact same.

It's still pulling crowds like crazy, it has to be for Katrina only ??

I'm really torn as to whether to see it. Half the people seem to be loving it, and half the people seem to despise it. What to do, what to do?

Saw it today.

Not a Shakespeare but sure it's Paisa Vasool fun film, even if plot is exact copy of After The Fox.

Surprise best acting was Akshay Khanna and of course glamour quotient was Katrina.

Film Length: 132 min aprox (start of logos to end of end credits)

Surround: Surround was felt occasionally and that too in songs only. Demonstrates, Bollywood doesn't know how to make use of Surround or DD.

(Mangal Pandey, LOC and may be a few other films is all from Bollywood that had real surround)

Each to their own Newdeep, Rana enjoyed the film - some people will like it and some won't.

I didn't. I enjoyed Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om as masala entertainers, but I found TMK to be another mindless Akshay Kumar "comedy" where he pulls faces throughout the film thinking he's funny. This film came across more like a Sajid Khan film than a Farah Khan film.

What I liked or found humorous was:

1) TMK steals medical staff's wrist watch and necklace at birth.

2) Con artist presents himself as Manoj Day Shyamalan. I must admit, not many in the theatre realized the satire behind it. (Not many in the theatre knew about M. Night Shyamalan).

3) Akshay Khanna was at par or may be even better than 'After The Fox', publicity/ oscar hungry actor who played that role.
There was no expectation that Akshay (not the Khanna) could act as well, or even come close to be as good as the legendary Peter Sellers.

4) Katrina was better looking and provided better glamour quotient than 'After The Fox' lead actress. And, music/ songs were definitely a plus for the Indian version.

5) Anil Kapoor vs Aatish Kapoor & Day Ho vs Jai Ho.

As I said before, not a Shakespeare but definitely a Paisa Vasool fun film.
