Trend setter for Indian movie. Don't miss it.

I didn't enjoy the 2nd half as much, 2nd half packed with lot of songs and great graphics, perhaps it was overwhelming.

Rajini - I have seen 80s rajini. Awesome performance, it's like moondru mugam hair style and moondru mudichhu crualty.

Must watch.

I'm heading to see this film on Sat Night in London. I was going to avoid it (and watch Made in Dagenham), but most the Endhiran reviews online have been positive.

Endhiran was very entertaining. There were minuses, but Shanker don't give you time to analyze the shortcomings. Endhiran succeeds in a major way because it is so imaginative and Rajini rocked especially as the evil Robo. This movie has nothing groundbreaking in terms of special effects, but 90% of the time whatever EFX shown on screen was executed well and that's incredible for an Indian film. I enjoyed Kilimanjaro and Arima Arima picturization. Overall it was pure entertainment. Thumps up!.

You can see the film in most cineworld cinemas in London. I saw the Tamil version - which is the original language of the film. It has English subtitles.

Don't watch the Hindi version...the dubbing is poor.

Is the audio Surround ??

For this kind of action film that also happens to be the most expensive Indian film to date, I would have expected aggressive surround. But, where I saw it, I noticed only Front Speaker activity. Can someone pl confirm or state otherwise.

Film end credits had DD and DTS logos and the theatre, where I saw this film, was just Dolby Digital.

BTW, I don't think it made any difference even if I didn't know Tamil. Film action plus sub-titles were enough to enjoy/ understand the film.

Watched an entertaining movie after a very long time. For me it was totally a fun movie. Loved Rajini, Rajini and Aish.

I agree, very entertaining film. I was initially worried that the Rajini factor would overtake this film, but Rajini doesn't over-Rajinify his parts. There's no big intro song, and he is first seen just sitting and working on the robot. It was with Evil Chitti that the usual Rajini charm (punch dialogues, etc.) came out, but he played Vaseegaran and Good Chitti well. The endless formations of 1000s of Rajinis in the climax was astounding. I will have to pick this up on Blu-Ray for sure, and I may see it once again in the theater.

Watched "making of enthiran" in SunTV. Awesome. The trouble that Shankar & Rajni went through to make this is unbelievable. Went to watch the movie again after watching Making of Enthiran... 2nd half didnt seem to be boring now :)

Looking forward for a high quality Blue Ray (dont have BR player, but will buy one for this and Avatar!)
