I remember watching this movie years ago but don't know the name or what its about.

There is a specific scene that comes to mind.

I'm pretty sure it's an Amrish Puri and Anil Kapoor film from the 80s.

Anil Kapoor goes into a white Phonebooth which is similar to a british Red booth from the 80's (only diffrence being white).

I think he calls the heroine of the film (who could either be Madhuri or Meenkshe, can't remember)

In the middle of the call, thugs put a hooded mask on Anil kapoors face and start beating him up with sticks and also destorying the phone booth and the girl on the other end can hear this.

Meri Jung or maybe Yudh (although no Amrish Puri in Yudh) ? Although the amount of times Anil Kapoor has got beaten up with mask on, it could be anything!
