We did not see your 2 cents on OSO/SAAWARIYA mush yet?

Hello Arsh bhai. Believe it or not I have not yet seen either of the two films. Honestly, I could not even stand the gay promos let alone be made to go see Saawariya in the theaters. I'm not much of a fan of the loud, overdramatic Bhansali. Also this whole love shove business get's on my nerves now, well atleast the kind potrayed by 99% of Hindi films. As for 'Om Shanti Om' I just have not been able to get around to seeing it, but the effort made by me is a good indication of how really keen I am on seeing it. THe more i see the promos, the more I get the feeling that this movie is really going to get on my nerves.

Sriram Raghavan to launch Mukesh's grandson

By Subhash K. Jha

Director Sriram Raghavan of 'Ek Haseena Thi' fame is introducing Neil Mathur, grandson of the legendary singer Mukesh, in his next film 'Johnny Gaddaar'.

Neil is aware of the Mukesh mantle that he must carry forward. 'Acting has been a dream for me since I was four. In fact, I did two films as a child. It was acting and not singing that interested me. And my father (singer Nitin Mukesh) always encouraged me. I believe one can be successfully creative in any field of showbiz - acting, direction or singing. For me it is acting,' Neil told IANS.

Sriram's last film 'Ek Haseena Thi' came two years ago. It took him that long to break free of Ram Gopal Varma's fold and discover another area of creative activity.

But now he is directing a film strangely entitled 'Johnny Gaddaar'. What on earth is that? 'It is a caper thriller,' explains Sriram. 'If I had to pick a genre it would have to be in the same line of vision as Tony Scott's 'True Romance' or Joel Coen's 'Blood Simple'. Nearer home I'd say it is like Abbas-Mustan's 'Baazigar'.'

Had forgotten about this report that it's Nitin Mukesh's son.
Who else knew that or had forgotten ??

Also, the RGV films that clicked, clicked because of RGV or because of people like Sriram ??

I've been ignoring this film for too long. How good is it really? I thought 'Ek Haseena Thi' was good, but not great. Is Johnny Gaddar better than that?

I urge you to watch it and decide for yourself. Whatever happens, you won't be disappointed.
Your feedback would be nice to look at :-)

excellent movie... best of 2007... beats crap like Sawariya, Eklavya and Om Shanti Om ten times over...

what a shame the film was promoted very badly and did not do well at the box-office

Neil deserved the best newcomer award at the recent screen awards, not Ranbir (Saawariya)
