MN Nambiar is apparently acting from 1935!!! he is now running 88 and 72 years in movie. He acted in one movie (forgot the title) where he played 11 characters. Still looking young.

Does that make Pran the oldest film personality in Bollywood ?? (Dilip Kumar is 1922 born, 1 - 2 Yrs younger than Pran, Achla Sachdev ??)

BTW, M N Nambiar has been in a 2006 film, Sudeshi and also in a 2002 famous film Baba.

Guess who (very famous name) made into the "40 Yrs or more in film business" club ??

Amitabh Bachchan.

Saw a TV clip where he stated that he has been in film business for 40 Yrs, signed his first film Saat Hindustani in Feb 1969.

(I entered his name in the starting post).

Sachin Pilgaonkar (known as Sachin) has completed 50 years in Film Business.
He had received national award for child artist in year 1962 for Marathi film 'Ha Majha Marg Ekla'.

Naushad (first film as an independent music director was Rattan (1940) ) and his last score was Taj Mahal (2005).

Farida Dadi (not sure of her first appearance, but I'm certain that she played the role of young Vyjayanthimala in Sangam (1964)). Her last movie was perhaps 3 Idiots as Farhan's mother. She still appears in Hindi TV shows though

Trying to figure this out, found out/ realized, we missed:
1) "LALITA PAWAR'.
Not only we missed naming her, it turns out she holds the record 'Bollywood actress with the longest film career'. (entered on 1st page as well)
2) P.Jairaj (Paidee Jairaj) (1909-2000) (active 1930-2000, last film released 2004, acted in SHOLAY), Hero in many films.

He has a huge repertoire, that has roots in the 1940s. His first venture seems to be associate director of Jungle Princess (1942), next venture as director of Muqabala (1942). Titles listed under his direction has 65 in number, and he has provided special effects for 30 titles; according to imdb.

His final venture as special effects director is listed as the 1990 film Sheshnag, and his final venture as director is listed as Shiv Mahapuran, a TV show of the year 2002.

The length of Babubhai Mistry's career pleasantly surprised all of us. It was one that spanned 60 years. Here is another forgotten artiste who's career ran for 69 years!

His career departed in 1938 with the film Vachan, and his last work was in the year 2006 (Shahji Ki Advice). I guess he started off as a child artiste, for according to his year of birth he'd have been 7 by the time Vachan released!!

Another suggestion for the list: Ramesh Deo

He’s been active since 1955, if his Wikipedia information is anything to go by. He appeared in Ghayal Once Again (2016). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramesh_Deo
His year of birth is written as 1926, making him a nonagenarian.

I’d also suggest to list his wife, actress Seema Deo. She’s been active since 1960 and was last reported to appear in 2011 film “Dubhang”.

If her iMDb entries are accurate, the actress began acting in films in 1933, when she was merely a year old. The last entry for her acting career is a TV show of the year 2002 called An American Dream. She also remained engaged in running her own dance school, which she inaugurated in 1971. Therefore, that must also stand for a part of her stream of activity, which only hit the ocean when she passed away in 2006.
