VERY excited about this one. Trailers look awesome, and I'm a fan of BOTH his previous works. Agreed, Aks was abstract and too non-commercial for most, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And we all know that Rang De Basanti just rocked!

Delhi 6 looks awesome thanks to the trailers. Methinds AB Jr's at his comedic best, Sonam has the possibility of being the NEXT BIG THING (if only she'd sign more films) and the music by Rahman is novelty at its best. The Masakali tune is instantly catchy and my kids love the bird play visuals.

Moreover, what a superb supporting cast... Atul Kulkarni, Divya Dutta, Om Puri, Rishi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Pawan Malhotra, Supriya Pathak, Tanvi Azmi, Vijay Raaz...

count me in line already.

If film is any thing of like of GARAM HAWA or Zubaida( I doubt that) it will be super, if another TERRORIST DRAMA with a twist then bye bye!

He did make crappy Mangal too!

'Mangal Pandey' was directed by Ketan Mehta. Rakesh Mehra had nothing to do with that film.

If not? then how rehman mixed Shreya's singing in this thumri is amazing!

Btw Shreya despite being good, some how pales she gets in her high range, where absolutely seems a singer of Kavita Subraminum or Alka was an absolute necessity. But Rehman always has niche of using 2nd best to his advantage. It is one of the best Thumri I heard after Zubaida's Saiyan also by Rehman.

I agree! This is real Rehman that I have seen after long HIATUS, absolute Gem imho.

Btw do listen to DEV D that is not commercial type, but brilliant album.

WOW, these songs are AMAZING! I now have my whole family aboard for watching this in the cinema including my 3 year old.
