Ekta Kapoor's Bhojpuri production GABBAR SINGH, written and directed by Mahesh Pandey, is ready for release!

The Mehbooba number in this movie is performed by Sambhavna Seth. This woman is a bomb more powerful than all the ammo put together in RGV's Aag.

Thakur is played by Jeetendra.
Gabbar is played by Ravi Kissen -- an ex-soldier, Goverdhan, who becomes an outlaw.

Ekta Kapoor looks beyond "K".

Told from Gabbar's point of view and dealing with his past, this could be a prequel to Sholay that Pritish Nandy are trying to make...

Earlier in 1995, Gabbar Singh was made in Pakistan.

I've heard that the character Gabbar Singh was based on a real life bandit. Maybe it's time to do a film on the real person, not the pop-culture Sholay version. But is there much known on the real Gabbar Singh?
