'Grand Masti' is an upcoming Bollywood adult comedy film presented by Bharat Shah, directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria. The film is a sequel to the 2004 hitfilm, 'Masti'.
The film seems to be a remake of Hollywood film 'American Reunion'.

Grand Masti Shows Growth On Saturday Sunday 15th September 2013 Grand Masti continued its good run on Saturday as it collected around 13 crore adding to the 12.25 crore nett on Friday so taking its total to around 25.25 crore nett.
The film has done fantastic business practically all over on the first two days. the circuits which were lower on Friday managed to show better gains on Saturday.
As Saturday has managed to go up the film should now manage to to towards the 40 crore nett mark for the weekend. It could join the elusive list of only fifteen films that have crossed the 40 crore nett mark for the weekend till date.
Grand Masti Emerges A SUPER HIT 20th September 2013
Grand Masti had an excellent first week of around 65.50 crore nett. It is the fourth highest opening week of the year after Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race 2 but all these films were wider releases as they all went above 3000 screens while Grand Masti was 2100 screens approx.
The film has is excellent all over with business in West Bengal and Mysore being lower compared to other circuits. Mumbai, Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Rajasthan are all fantastic.
The film is aSUPER HITand now it remains to be seen if the film has enough momentum to take it to the 100 crore nett mark. This will depend on the second weekend, normally steady business in weekdays and a 65 crore first week would suggest an easy 100 but it has been this with this genre when the drops start they are very rapid.
