Does anyone know what the hell is going on with the release of Zamaanat? I thought it was supposed to finally be released in 2005, but...I guess it just never was. Am I mistaken? Was it discreetly put straight through to DVD? I wonder whether this this will ever be released or not.

i remember Rajinikant giving the clapper to the muhurat of this movie back in 1996! It is now 10yrs, hurrah! we might have a record breaking film if delayed even further!

No way in hell will this "break any records," not even if they delay it another several years. We all remember Paakezah, don't we? More recently, there have been, Hatya, Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin, Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke, Kasam...the list goes on, and on. I can't recall, however, this ever having happened to an Amitabh-Bachchan film (although, I did hear a rumor — some time ago (at http://www.planetbollywood.com, I believe — that a film starring him and Shatrughan Sinha, from the 1980s, would "soon be released"...still waiting).

Love and God was started around 1963 or 1964 with Guru Dutt and eventually released in 1986 with Sanjeev Kumar in the lead.

Commando, i think the AB/Shatru film is called 'Yaar Meri Zindagi' both are wearing moustaches and are gays. It was early 70s shooting. I have a still from the film, if you want me to post it.

Reading an article on Rediff about Dangerous Ishq, and it states Zamaanat was released in 2009 - did I miss this?
