SS look awful, unfortunately.

Yep looks as crappy as the VCD I came across a while back. Funny thing about this movie, the early copies that filtered through Pakistan had the main courtroom scene cut - where Naseeradin near the end of the movie makes a case for music in Islam. Hey, don't agree with the message in the movie, just cut it out, so that it doesn’t make no sense at all

If you can find the full uncensored version it's worth watching at least once. Music scores are used really well throughout the movie (particularly liked the escape Allah-ho routine; incidentally the original song can be found disc 2 of BBC Awards For World Music 2006, done by Saiin Zahoor, title: Auquhian Rahwan – Difficult Paths). Shaan is a revelation, can’t say the same for the model/actress (the name I forget) which roams around the entire film with the same gormless expression . This movie needs a decent DVD, its shot really well and looks amazing in places.
