i tried one long ago, delivered soon, however shipping is too costly.

Regarding shipping cost, now a days to compete with ppl like IW most of the sites are using the same tactics that IW uses. Sell the product at cost price (or less in some cases), add $1 to $1.50 / product for shipping and ship the product by media mail. Otherwise, they all will have to add up the price (similar to India Plaza, they have a strick pricing policy but the service and packing/shipping is good).

Now we are in between (typical ABCD ), we dont want to do the same think like others, but we also want to compete with others, so we have a very little margin on the price and reduced shipping cost. We will send most of the orders by first class, but certain DVDs are too heavy (Main Hoon Na, Swades, LOC, Lakshya, MSK etc), so for those products we use media mail.

Now a days Hindi DVDs are so expense (for no reason) and its getting difficult to sell hindi dvds in volume and make any margin.

I am with you on that.
