From what I've been able to tell, Tamil DVDs are THE Most pricey things amongst all Indian DVDs. NONE of them are ever on sale. I know that speaking for myself if Nehaflix had a 7.99-9.99 sale on their Tamil titles I would buy at least ten at one go but with a $17 pricetag on each DVD at the moment, I really stay away from them. Does anyone know why these Ayngaran DVDs are so expensive and why no retailer ever offers them on sale? Its truly a pity because I feel these films are being kept away from all audiences due to the hefty price tag (justifiable in cases such as 'Kandukondain Kandukondain' but really seems a rip-off when it comes to films like 'Thiruda Thiruda' and 'Indian')

Does ANYONE have any idea where to get Tamil DVDs for cheap? How come no one has yet started a 2-in-1 for Tamil DVDs?

Ayngaran sells their discs on their website for 11.99 pounds. Don't know how that converts into dollars, but it surely can't be the $17-$20 I usually see these discs selling for.

I'm gonna go ahead and order these if no one here has a copy to spare for cheap : Minnale, Jeans, Thiruda Thiruda, Run, Kaadalan (all Ayngaran)

no sir...malayalam dvds are the most expensive ones...and they are very rare to find....not lot of sites carry these....every single malayalam dvds starts with $18 - 21 and with S & H, make it around $25 for sure....have u tried this??

I dont know if this helps......but found this site where you can dowload tamil movies (for evaluation purposes only of course) - they got some of the latest ones, like Nala Damayanti and Parasuram as well:

The Ayngaran store in Toronto sells DVDs for $24 cdn. That's the cheapest I've found.

Dvds are cheap so is their customer service.
