Do you remember faulty Dil Chahta Hai discs over a year ago? Well I had mine for about a year and hey presto, the movie kept freezing at chapter 17 onwards. I tried mailing spark but they never replied. Today I phoned them and some bloke said "we solved the problem a long time ago" and wouldn't discuss replacing manufactured-faulty discs- I told him I had the 2-disc first release and he insisted it was a pirate and to retrun it to the store where I bought it.... and surprise surprise, they couldn't offer a refund after a year! Then the guy reckoned that I could buy another 2-disc edition now which is a blatant lie considering the new re-release is a single disc! What a prick! Anyway I've written to them so lets see.

Has anyone else had such problems?

If UK customers have same trouble with UK version of DCH get in touch with Spark and if they give you bullshit phone your local trading standards up and give them the sorry tale of the bad quality DVD. The disc has an inherent fault and as such you can demand a replacement under the Sale of Goods and Services Act which is statutory law in UK cover consumer purchases. You could even pi$$ them off and ask for them to repair the DVD.........the monkeys will probably even have a go.

I wrote a nasty letter & said that I'd be contacting trading standards. Will see if the assholes actually reply... :ffs:
