I had ordered some DVDs. Of the seven 2 of them have turned out to be faulty. So I was wondering if Indeaweekly will exchange them for working DVDs

Cos I Live in UK, I wondering is it worthwhile persueing this?

i guess i will take the turn to answer that! :D

There were number of occasions where i had to return DVDs back to IW. Sometimes it was DVD that didn't play on my faulty DVD player, sometimes it was not what was described on site. sometimes i learned about the DVD to be inferior while it was on the way and decided to return before breaking the seal. sometimes, it was used and wasn't pleased with the useness.

The very first time when i returned a DVD back to IW, they refunded my cc card ONCE they received the DVD back to them. Since i am from canada, the cc company are crooks, in a sense that they would charge higher exchange rate when charging and giving lesser exchage rate when taking refund. IW was prompt!

The Second time when i returned a DVD back, it was very poor quality dvd and was missing features what was described on site. Afzal took it back, giving me refund once again.

The Third time when i returned a DVD back cause of it's inferior quality which i learned from zulm, afzal took it back without question. Again, this time he gave me credit toward my following purchase ONCE he received the DVD back.

The Fourth time when i had to return a DVD cause it had freezing behaivour. Afzal sent me a replacement BEFORE he even received the DVD back.

The Fifth time when i had to return the DVD cause it was used. I received another used DVD as replacement, on top the package went to custom.

As for getting the return shipping refunded, well.. they refused to begin with, but they did refunded afterward, i guess can't remember. They were fine doing return/replacement/refund. But since you are way out there in UK, their service toward you may differ. hope not!

yaar, this is over the period of approximately 18 months or so. I just posted what i remember accurately. There were number of times i kept the dvd which was sent out to me on errors thinking them i am doing them some good (but no acknowledgement).

O well, according to the topic of this thread, they take return alright and give refund/replacement accordingly. most of the time atleast! Respected members said you will get them on phone when you need customer service, that's true. They will do anything possible.

the only recent dvd i returned to IW was Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. had some problems playing it when i got it. the second copy is on its way! didn't have to pay anything futher & I was also offered a refund for shipping charges for sending it back to them, hopefully i should be receiving my dvd tomorrow!

its no use pointing your finger at IW after a while when your dvd starts freezing up. regardless from where you buy your dvd's companies like Video Sound, Eros have sh*t dvds so blaming IW for this is silly.

The company who author the dvd are to be blame.IW just seeling their dvds, what i meant was that IW have really good customer service . i was replying to panic mail , that he/she don,t have to worry about the customer sevice of I W .

I purchased the DEI version of Roja and it did not play on my dvd player or even on my computer. It kept saying cannot read the disc. I sent them back for a replacement. This is infact my first return to them.

Guys just a word of Caution.. Please avoid all those DVDs being sold at all sites (IW and others)... where they sell u the DEI replicated discs at dirt cheap prices.

Wait for the official re-release of the same disc on a BEI label (coming from BEI directly) so that you can "at-least" be assured that you will get good quality media for your DVds.. I dont think Sandish would like to mess up on that front, as he would need all the goodwill of customers to regain his business :)
