A few dvds I've noticed have started to creap up in price
ie dil cha tha hai was 9.99 now 13.99

also ma tujehe salaam gone from 3.99 to 6.99



I hope this isn't a trend

They always seem to do that...Asoka went from 16.99 down to 14.99 then 13.99 then back upto 15.99...I was going to buy the 2 days ago at $13.99 but then it went up...decided to wait again...

Still dont buy it legend da! buy r2 Asoka instead!imho, vagarna pachtaeyga!!fir na kehna khabar nahin ki!

do u have ps2 or x box?, or buy apex 1500 player for 70-80 bucks! possibly, or just get r1 Asoka? decision is urs!

I am still debating...

* I don't have PS2 or XBox

* I already have 4 DVD (inlc. DVD-ROM) players so buying another just for Asoka doesnt make sense...$120 CDN versus $27 CDN.

* The pirate is even worse than than this version.

* If IW can match it, I might get it, if not forget it. I liked it for Kareenas outfits :love: and the battle scenes that is why I wanted it.

Man! whata Costume! That is INDEED too much of a costume..well!!! Raat ka nasha, aise hi naheen hota!

If I could find 50 Indian DVDs like R2 ASOKA, Quality wise and content wise, I will consider upgrading to Progressive, All Digital (multi region) Home theatre system. That makes it $ 400 per DVD initially. In comparison $ 80 US for a temporary Apex player should not discourage you.

It works on my R1 PC DVD. I don't know why? The resulting picture on my PC screen is stunning. I would say, buy R2 ASOKA. If it doesn't work on your PC, then buy APEX.

I guess R2 Ashoka is actually region free. Hence it plays on R1 dvd Rom.
