I read in my local paper that the Circuit City chain plans to discontinue the sale of VHS movie titles to reflect the increasing popularity of DVDs . Some of the CC stores have already stopped selling VHS movies. CC will continue to selling VCR and blank VHS tapes.

Circuit City's web site will continue to sell movie titles in the VHS format.
