Best way to buy disc on the cheap is to become close mates with your local video shop retailer, then he'll supply you with real dirt cheap DVD's :D

like b*llox he will! The ones near me are stingy gits. One tried to charge me £20 for a DDLJ copy. I would never buy one from these kinda people :DD:

My personal fave is cdguru.com. For older titles or titles that they may get in stock - much later than you would expect - try play.com or splashdvd both with free delivery.

all i can say is i prefer a good service as well which is what i have had in my little experience in delaing with Jolly. But sandeep at cdguru has never replied to any of my emails or phone calls. What was netasia skanked me silly and never replied thereafter so those two Uk retailers get a big thumbs down from me....

have aankhen dvds started shipping from indiandvdfilms.com
I am getting a little p*ssed of cos it was listed as released when i ordered it and i had to pay £18.99 even though the pre order price was £16.99
Do they do this all the time? This was over a week ago. I was willing to pay that price cos it was listed as released on the website. This was over a week ago. Can i get my money back ?

The dealings I've had with indiandvdfilms.com they’ve done this on more than one occasion. They/Jolly will advertise DVDs as in stock and when you order you will have wait ages until he actually get the stock. When you enquire you’re told that they’ve sold the entire current batch and are waiting for the next set. This was a while back and I stopped using indiandvdfilms.com because of this and few other things. I guess nothing has changed and same practice still carries on.

Ask for your money back the DVD will turn up on your door next day! (hmm maybe not a bad idea, ask for it back anyway – either way you get a result)

If you’re in the UK only reliable sources I’ve found for DVDs is either local shops (but beware of counterfeit fakes), CDguru (although they don’t usually have the latest DVDs, esp VS stuff) or Bollywooddvd.co.uk (same as Cdguru, don’t usually have latest films – but more so; there not open for business any more – revamping I think) – so not much of a choice left. I would still recommend Indiaweekly.com – service to UK is faster than most other places based in the UK!

PRETTY SIMPLE...

THE ONLY HALF DECENT DVD COMPANY IS JOLLYS SITE.......HOWEVER...WELL READ BELOW...

WHEN I HAVE ORDERED FROM JOLLY LETS SAY ON PRE-ORDER HE CHARGES U STRAIGHT AWAY - PLAY.COM NEVER DO THIS.

THATS ONE PROBLEM....

ANOTHER....

SOMETIMES WHEN U ASK HIM WHEN HE WILL HAVE A NEW DVD IN STOCK HE PROMISES - FRIDAY AND DEL BY SAT - BUT U NEVER GET THE DVD UNITLL THE FOLLOWING WEEK - ITS NOT HIS FAULT - MOST OF THE DVDS (EXCEPT YASH RAJ) ONES COME FROM USA - JOLLY CANNOT DO MUCH HERE...IT WOULD HELP IF STOPPED BULLSHITTING AND WAS STRAIGHT UP!!!

ANOTHER....

WHEN U ASK HIM WHY THE DVD HAS NOT BEEN POSTED - HE COMES OUT WITH A SHIT EXCUSE - EROS SENT ME A FAULTY BATCH OR ANOTHER GOOD ONE IS ALL DVDS WERE RECEIVED BUT NO DVDS HAD BEEN INSERTED - IE EMPTY!!!

ANOTHER..... :tounge: :tounge:

OK THATS ENOUGH - I REALLY DO NOT WANNA TALK ABOUT ANY OTHER UK SHITE - SORRY SITE - I STILL THINK JOLLY'S SITE IS STILL THE BEST IN THE UK REGARDING ABOVE!!!!

IF U WANT TO PAY MORE AND WAIT 2 WEEKS LONGER THAN ME THEN BUY FROM JOLLY OTHERWISE LOGIN ON TO HERE!!!!

http://WWW.INDIAWEEKLY.COM

THIS IS WHAT I CALL A SITE - EVEN REFUNDED MY POSTAGE FROM THE UK WHEN I HAD TO SEND BACK A COUPLE OF DVDS!!!

Hey Ranj have a look at this link....
http://www.zulm.net....;t=1442

intresting.....

Bye the way Jolly is not the only UK supplier there are others, yes we all know Jolly has one of the biggest collection of films but end of the day it comes down to good customer service, good prices and honsety. When you have read the above link Jolly has failed on all accounts.
