the actual site seems to work fine but it is not letting me place a order. I was trying to order 4 dvd's together & as soon as i process it after entering my credit card details it comes up with a error message & tells me to try after 5 minutes, tried it nearly 4 - 5 times & have given up now.

did anyone else have any similar problems in the past? let me know..thanks!

Damn! my credit card has been debited for over $200 just for 1 order & like i mentioned in my last post, there was no confirmation of my reciept number or order number by indiaweekly. either i have done something wrong or indiaweekly is screwed up. this never happened to me before when i placed my last order a week ago.

I want my money back!! :ffs:

Why did you order from IndianWeekly?!?! They are con artists they steal your money! Let us know how your situation ends up. Did you try emailing customer service? :nervous:

here is the reply from customer service at indiaweekly, as long as they refund my money for the 2 extra times they charged my credit card then i dont mind. but charging a credit card 3 times is not good enough for a reputed site like indiaweekly.

When Indiaweekly charges your credit card they are only blocking the funds, there is no transfer of funds. So your CC was blocked 3 times and when Indiaweekly voided the transaction, the block was released. So I think in this case you will not get refund as no money was transferred out of your account.

For those interested in details - It is not Indiaweeky which handles the CC charges, they are actually done by another company InfoSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ: INSP) through their website authorizenet.com. According to their website in last quarter they processed more than $1.3 Billion in transactions[url=http://www.businesswire.com/cgi-bin/cnn-storydisplay.cgi?story=/www/bw/webbox/bw.042402/221140424.htm&textcolor=%23000000&linkcolor=31639C&vlinkcolor=purple&pre=0&strip=1&nohrule=1¬imestamp=1&noeditor=0&nocontact=0&nobackground=1&story_textcolor=%23000000&headlinecolor=31639C&story_linkcolor=31639C&header=%2Fwww%2Fbw%2Finsp%2Fheader-ep.shtml&footer=%2Fwww%2Fbw%2Finsp%2Ffooter-ep.shtml&bgcolor=%23343399]Got this link from their website![/url]. The problem Khiladi faced must have been some kind of software glitch at authorizenet.com website. It seems to be working fine now.

well thanks for clearing that up Satya, i was concerned because my funds on my cc were blocked & it showed more than $200 bucks missing. i haven't had any previous problems with IW but it was suprising when this happened.
