Hello all,
What are the convenient and cheap priced areas in the NY area for shopping?
I've already been to Edison, NJ in past visits, but it is about an hour from the Tuxedo Park area, where I am visiting.

Last time I was in NY I went to Jackson Heights - there was store after store of DVD and CD shops. They have originals although when I was shopping they were always pulling out pirate copies first and I had to insist on the originals.

Also - if you do shop there I would advise opening the seals while you are in the store to make sure none of the discs are damaged. I ended up with a couple of discs that didn't work from my trip there as there was some munufacturing defects in them.

I kind of now just order on-line for most of what I want to get hold of as it's easier than a long trip to the shops.

Thanks Muz. I ended up just venturing to a local shop as JH was too far also. The selection was restricted to NEW releases, but got most of what I wanted.
