buyin DVDs for more then 2-3 months and justinfying like that !
does it make sense ?
If i were u i would have stopped after the 1st shipment !

Sorry Imran, I don't want my name used without my permission, especially in conjunction with cursing someone (for no good reason I might add). You should take this comment back. She was speaking of her own experience, and was commenting on it, which she is entitled to. I hope for your sake, Imran, that you don't work for pakwebstore, because if you truly want customers, you have to act like a decent human being. You don't curse someone for not liking your service, rather, you should maybe see WHY that someone doesn't like your service, so that you could improve on it. If you do work for them, and I am 99 percent sure of it, based on your posts, then this will most likely be my first and last order from pakwebstore, because of irresponsible comments like that. As in any debate, name calling does NOT count as an argument. Rather, you should present proofs to back your side up. If you want someone to listen to what you have to say, then you gotta speak in a clear and coherent manner, with calmness and respect. Otherwise, people will immediately tune you out. Just some advice...

To tell u the truth i dont work for pakwebstore but the site is owned by one of my very good cousin.....

Also I made him read all the posts here today and after that i posted the coment !
He asked me to get all the order numbers from the girl ..... so that she may prove ! or otherwise y she is sayin baseless things (i dont know if DVD Girl) is a guy or a gal really !

It is all ur decision to make up ur mind about all this ! i would rather not post any thing now !

Glad to hear your apology. I understand, you don't want your cousin's store to be ruined. Anybody who owns a store or has a friend/family who does always wants to see them succeed. However, as with any business, you have to be ready to face positive AND negative results. You learn from the negative results. If someone complains about customer service being lazy, then you work on being more prompt. If someone complains about dvds arriving with broken cases, then you find a different supplyer of the dvds, or possibly find a different shipping company. And on and on... You wanted your cousin to have success, so you got emotional, and you apologized, so that little problem is settled. However, rather than not posting anymore, or giving up, take these comments that are posted on this board, and utilise them to IMROVE your business. Without customer feedback, companies can become lazy and non-responsive to demands. I mean hell, based on what I read about Eros, VS, Yashraj, etc., they don't care about customer comments and keep producing sub-par products, thus losing a segment of their potential customer base. Now, those are large companies, and so are not so affected, as the majority of their customers don't seem to care much about the quality. However, based on your posts, your cousin's site is a new site, and has a small customer base. Because of this, you gotta work even harder to make your business known, and to attract new customers (as well as retain previous customers). That is why it is VERY important to listen to everyone, not just those who would praise you, but also even your harshest critics! Otherwise, your business may stagnate, or even worse, disappear altogether. So don't give up! We need competition among dvd businesses, so that prices can go down and quality of service can improve. Remember, people (and their businesses) can change, so don't give up altogether. Just do your best to provide quality service, and always strive to be the best out there. You and your cousin's business will be the better for it.

so Imran ur related to the own of pakwebstore? well i dont wanna take this further & get false hopes... as i have got so far. By the way i have no intentions of ruining ur cousins business. its just my experince was rather poor. i wasnt happy at all with the service & found that the store did not service the customers as they should.

I am not the only one complaining many others have too. Also dont use that kinda words when replying. I can see ur angry but its not my fault for these comments u should be more postive. HONEST!

can i ask u ur cousin is in pakistan? right?
so how come he doesnt tell every one that his dvds are copies if soo then low prices. pirates are sold too.

i was told that any shop or web page in pakistan or etc.... doesnt sell orignals & u can see that by a post given earliar.

hi captain,

Well, I think so far pakwebstore has a margin over cdstore.pk, because I've heard one positive, and one mixed (but mostly negative) response, whereas cdstore.pk was mostly denounced (although i think i saw someone's post that they never had a problem with it). i hope mine is on the positive side! :p

One thing I cant understand and I wonder why our poor Desi folks here dont understand.. Pak does not and cannot have ORIGINAL stuff fro sale.. as Hindi DVDs manufactured are not to be sold there :) Secondly.. we all know how much Piracy goes on there when it comes for Music...

To be honest, I don't understand it. I am Palestinian, so I know only English and Arabic... I know a tiny bit of hindi from watching hindi movies (I'm a big bollywood fan). So you'll please kindly translate it? I know it has something to do with a lion... :D

Well, I made my order back on Oct. 10. So it's not an impending thing! :) I read the posts about cdstore.pk, and I also read about pakwebstore, and our friend urbanlegend gave them a shot and was pleasantly surprised, which is why I decided to try them out (that and their free shipping worldwide.. i'm in school in the west indies). I believe in giving everyone a fair chance, which I am sure you will agree with. Whether you are for or against purchasing pirated media, that's a different story. :p

Well, I actually have used Indiaweekly! Used to use indiaplaza. damn expensive once i saw what other options were available! with IW, it took 5 weeks to get my order... The staff was friendly, yes, but sometimes gave me conflicting replies as to my order status (and replies took several days). However, I did get my order, so no problem there. I don't think the packaging was wrapped in the shrinkwrap, though, which I assume all new packaging is. Plus the shipping internationally is kinda expensive. So mixed opinion about indiaweekly (although, i'm sure experience would be different if i ordered back home in the states). Also tried bensonsworld.uk, which i thought was somewhat better than indiaweekly, at least for my circumstances. free shipping, prices were moderate to high, and i got it in 3 weeks this time. :) such is the case with the west indies i guess. anyhow, we'll see how pakweb turns out, i'll post some comments when i get my order. it's been 2 weeks, so should arrive any day.

they do pirates. but they should state it. along that all dvds sold are copies.

hi. im new to this, i joined to state a coment on pakwebstore.

i agree wiv dvd girl.... i got alot of complains from them. i just ordered last month. devdas 2 in 1. its a copy, very good copy.

recently i dont know if u lot who bought of pakwebstore.... have u or havent but i was contacted by ccnow! they contacted me "we notice u have purchesed by pakwebstore.com, we are doing a survey on an enquiry given to us by parties concerned. Please would u answer a few questions:

1. what did you order from pakwebstore.com?
2. Was it all legel items?
3. any coments you would like to leave?
4. what do you think should be done about this store (choose options:

A, closed
B, fined
C, others.

i got this servey. havent replied but am going to.... so if u have bought off this store i request u to stop before u get in trouble. As i heard this servy has been requested by the companies of manufactures like eros.

Oh it also stated that if all items sold on this store were againest the law then all people wiv them or selling similar shall be fined.

Do these fines apply to those customers who already had their order(s) shipped? Mine was sent out Oct. 14. Personally, I don't think they should fine the customers, because the customers aren't acting as resellers. Hell, they paid for the dvds, so it's not like they stole them. Just my opinion.

You don't say! Very interesting.. But how is this possible? I don't see how they can possible go after everyone does'nt sound kosher
