you folks (zulmies) may remember the famous thread "Angoor DVD by IW/Canadaflix, screen shots inc", is this thread satya can be clearly seen as one of the few humdard of IW. I'm not saying anything more than just this that satya may not work for IW, but surely is attached to the company personally.

De niro, i do agree with you regarding shipping about NX. It is expensive. :nopity:

Now you shitting me Einstein! The orders were placed long before the snow storm, and that's not the only occasion, I had quite a few problems with late shipments before, not to mention a few other problems, but since the issue here is the lenght of shipping time no need mention them.

Oh by the way for the record. I have nothing against IW and Afzal is very gracious! Still one of my favourite site that I will continue to do business under favorable conditions :D

satya and sknath (president and vice president of marketing at indiaweekly.com), please tell your superiors that they are the best online retailers of indian dvds but they need to do something about their shipping time since there is no excusing the fact that nehaflix ships about a week ( 5 business days) quicker than them. they used to be good in shipping (about 5 business days to where i live), but now it's taking around 10 business days.

Theon *sigh*... I wont blame ya... Even the shipping times here to Ottawa takes abt the same time. However you should realize something here, you can always get it shipped by GPM. The flip side is that Customs checking are more often done when the packets are shipped by GPM... which makes it "iffy". You can take a gamble.

I ordered a DVD from India Weekly and it arrived today. First off, the plastic wrap looked suspicious. I have bought many DEI DVDs before and they were never shrinkwrapped in this type of plastic. Secondly, there was no Chapter Insert in the case. Every DEI DVD I have bought before has had a Chapter Insert. Thirdly, I examined the disc. Not only did it have some very noticeable scratches, but it also had a very prominent fingerprint on the disc! Needless to say, I will be returning this used disc. IW has really got to stop selling "used" discs as "new" or they should at least describe the disc as "used" on their site when they sell it. I am sure they have customers who don't care about the condition of the discs they receive, but, considering that I have returned many discs to them before, you'd think they would be more careful about what they send me.

Thakshak.. not only DEI dvds, any dvds u find scratched you should return back to IW . I would advise you not to buy the present batch of DEI dvds... wait for their repackaged versions on a BEI label.. Then go ahead and make the purchases
