Yo J,
price match means to match a price. in this case EXACTLY what you are price-matching to.

for IW, NX... if you find any lower price in any website, you tell them about it, and they will price-match EXACTLY to the lowest price.

IW gives you a addition 10% OFF, this not neccessarily means $1 less or more. This means whatever the lowest price is, they will give you the 10% of the lowest price discount.

For example:
IW has a movie Main Gadha for $12.99
and INDIAPLAZA has the same movie for $8.49

if you tell IW, they will price-match to $8.49 and then will give you 10% discount. lets calculate the 10%

8.49 x 0.10 = 0.85

IW will or should give you the Main Gadha for 8.49-0.85 = $7.64..... hope this helps. by the way dont buy this movie if this ever exists :)

NX will give you the movie for $8.49 once you mention about the website selling cheaper.

And also, shop from there where it's cheaper over-all after shipping. If IW or anyone charges you too much for shipping then you should be buying for my suggestions above where the shipping is free of charge. :D

thank you very much shuman for a very good explanation on the 10% thing.....i knew that about IW matterafact there are bunch of other sites does that too, so nothing SPECIAL about that....i just wanted to make it clear....when u did the dvd comparison with IW & India Plaza, it did come around $1.00 cheap right??? let me just make that $2.00 cheap (WHICH IS NOT OBVIOUSLY)....even after that, when u add the total with S & H up in IW, it comes more or around close to the other sites....so now my question is "how can u still say IW is way cheaper than other sites"???? i even gave u an example a comparison between EROS and IW ....if i can get cheaper by buying 5 dvds and FREE S & H, while shopping at IW, i have to purchase $200 worth stuff to get free S & H....now can u please explain where the hell am i going wrong in this???? did i do the comparison wrong??? i think its time for the person who said "I think some ppl here are foolish enuff not to read the fine print *PRICE MATCHING* ( or should I ask them to do that before they place their orders ! )? can u please tell me why u still think its the cheapest place???? whats wrong with my comparison????? i think i stated everything clearly....the comparison i did in above, lets just say after doing that 10% off thing up in IW, the total comes out to be $8 cheaper or make it $10.....WOW...OH MY GOD...but u know what, there S & H is still comming out to be over 10 bucks...around 12 - 14 bucks....thats for 5 DVDs....i am still paying $4 or $5 more.....what am i doing wrong here???? oh let me guess, u are doing a comparison between apple and orange???.....hahahaha...oh please...i have other sites aswell not just the brand sites such as EROS or DEI....the main point is as i always said a million times in other post as well, this is not only the cheapest place....when u add their total, IW's price does comes around other sites....i am NOT saying IW is very bad, dont shop there because i shop there most of the time aswell....just wanted to make out a point for all the IW GLUED members that praises this site more than their life :) ....anyways, keep it comming....i am listining... :)

i buy from both IW, NX.. they have awesome price.. their shipping is awfully high, but still total comes cheaper than it cost me in total at other websites and that is why i buy from them.

if i can get my dvds reach me cheaper by any other mean, i will praise them. to me the question isn't who is the cheapest and by how much, but rather who is cheaper regardless how much.

J, just give up. you shop at IW and will shop there, i shop at NX, and i will shop there. difference is, you still want to get few more pennies to you pocket and i am pleased to get the service that i want, and the price that i like.

no sir...i dont JUST shop at IW...lately i been shopping somewhere else too....i used to shop crazy without even thinkin, up there but then i wondered, is it really that cheap....then one day i got 4 or 5 other sites and did comparison with them....then it hit me, how the hell is IW getting so high or comming close to the other sites when their DVDs are so CHEAP!!!!!!!! .....hmmm could be the S & H.....which really hit me one time when i ordered around 10 DVDs cause i couldnt resist the price like everyone else....OH MY....u dont want to know how much that came out to be....when 5 comes around 12 somethin bucks for S & H, think about 10 DVDs....see ppl here who are glued to IW, they act like there is nothing wrong with it....there is like no bad part about it....they praise them so highly even if u proove them wrong....they just still think its the best and start dissing other sites....that is so wrong....most of u's are heavy IW shoppers, thats GREAT....wonderfull....the only reason u guys go there is cause you are in their FAVORITE lists, u have more advantage than us....some of u do admit it, to be in their FAVORITE list :) .....i just want to make a point here thats it....everytime i put something down here, i get 1000000000 IW's customers jumping on me, all sucking up to them like they are ALMIGHTY GOD....please....stop that...take a deep breath and relax....i am not trying to put IW's sales down here alright....I LOVE THEM TOO....i just hate it when ppl suck up to them too much....just because its cheaper for u, that dont mean its cheaper for everyone....anyways i made my point and ya'll made yours....btw where is that person who was calling us BEWAKOOF or how do u say that in english (DUMB)???? i did not get any critize from him yet....i cant digest my food until i get some GALIYAS from him :) ....MR SMART....always in the line to be first.....lol hehehehehe

u know i thought when i wake up and come here to check this post, i thought there will be like 10 replies to my post all going at me like they always do....i am considered to be the bad apple here, i think :) ....are u guys looking for the right moment to attack me :) ?????? lol

where is your that somewhere else? are you selfish to share with us, by the way i am not iw addict. i buy from nx if you didn't read my post thoroughly.

dont think i am jumping on you, you are doing a quite a good job of your own. :) i wish nx would price-match to your somewhere else, but unfortunately they dont have brain to just take my words or in that matter of fact anyone's word. they would want the actual website, if you are getting a deal elsewhere; just stick to it.

shuman ji.....aap yeh kya kah rahi hai aur kar rahi hai....mujhe to kuch samajh mein nahi aa raha....jab aap IW ki FAVORITE list mein hai to phir aap neha mein kya kar rahi hai ji :) ...man she been bragin all about IW in other posts with the other brainiacs and now she change her plans....hmmm.....shuman ji aap to girgit ke tarah yeha rang badalte hi rahti hai....oh btw, u never told me how i can get into IW's favorite list :) ...mein hardam yeh sawal aap se puchta huh aur aap bhul jati hai...could u please rem. this one next time :) ....well i been shopping to places where they have FREE s & h like EROS for sure....i wait when they make it FREE S & H, do the smart way :)...well usually places like cdguru.com, indianblockbuster.com and even indiaplaza.com does that aswell....they do also price match by the way.....so u see shuman ji, i dont have just one favorites....i have many, in most case, i only go where its cheap....i am not selfish at all shuman ji....if i find some more sites, something that you guys dont know, i will surely to mention it....dont worry....well thats that....mere baton ka bura to nahi laga na aap ko shuman ji??? :) aap se majak karna hame acha lagta hai....hehehehe

iw se bhi dvd karidh ta hoon.. but not a iw-addict, that's my main point. tarif karne ke liye koi rule hai kya? sudhar jaa.. :D
