Shuman,
The reason I said that is because IW prices are already so low that all their DVDS are lower than any other sites I have seen and the question of getting the 10 percent
is also low. That leaves the other way $300 wholesale. Whether I have bought from them I'll let you figure that one out.

Being a new member to this forum, how do you get 10% off at IW.

Quote from bthiruma, $16.49 @ buy.com
subject says it all. From dvdpricesearch.com, cheaper than indiaweekly and some other indian retailer online.

cheers,

--------------------------------------------------------

belief - contact IW and see if they will give you the Lagaan for 10% OFF of 16.49 (which is U$14.84) upon presenting the URL (in this case for Lagaan, it would: http://www.buy.com) for the website which is selling for U$16.49. if they are selling for more than 16.49, they will not refuse. atleast they never refused me so far when i wanted to have price matched and 10% off from a dvd that is being sold elsewhere cheaper.

America's Captain got confused with wholesale discount and with price match, which i amn't too keen about. Just to let you (belief and others) know that this process of discount is known as price match .

English is a hard language, but i managed to understand the quote that is indicated on IW's website. you try you will get it too.. if you dont, write to service@indiaweekly.com - they take time to respond, but they eventually will.

Lowest Price Guarantee: If you find a lower price from a legitimate competitor on the Internet on an identical item we stock, please email us the URL of the product/item page, we'll not only meet that price, we'll beat it by 10%

O.K ACE I am confused, after all english is second language to me. I now fully understand the meaning of price match, but stupid me did not realised we were addressing that issue. I foolishly thought that we were addressing this "Being a new member to this forum, how do you get 10% off at IW" and being familiar with buying wholesale over $300.00 that IW offers 10 percent off I might pass that information on, little did I realised that your budget cannot stretch that far and it will be beyond your comprehension. I strongly suggest you knock the chip of your shoulder and move on. Its too immature and unbecoming of you to try to get even for previous bashing meted out to you by yours truly on other threads.Oh by the way your message was tacky do not send anymore it will only leave a bad taste to your pallet and leave you more frustrated. Peace brother.

captainamerica,
keep it cool! unfortunately i dont know of any other way to let someone know that they are confused and ignorant.

you were disagreeing with a quote which was never my words, it was copied and pasted directly from IW website.

- what does that makes you? -

i have placed wholesale over $300.00 with IW ONCE, i am aware of the wholesale discount.

- what did you mean by that that you realised my budget cannot stretch that far? what does that make you? -

You have suggested many things for my well being - Thank You. But sadly i dont have much suggestions for you. Unfortunately what you have born with, will stay with you for a long time.

you tried your best to critise me (bash me in your words); where i simply presented facts; i love crisitsm but your critism is complete waste of time, you get all emotional and out of control... dont worry about my taste buds (or the level of my frustrations), they cannot be easily tickled.. you (and others) always welcome... .... this is my last post for the thread as it must've got exausted of me by now.. but dont you give up!

To compare prices go to
http://www.dvdstep.com/dvdspecbdvdtitles.asp?O=1

you can pitch IW with all others, if you are in UK then IW is sometimes more expensive when you add there dilivery.

Another observation while browsing at Iweekly, prices of several DVD keep on fluctuating from one day to next for example Bobby by Shemaroo was priced at 9.99 and then 10.99,Nai Roshni was at 14.99 then 11.99 and now 12.99.There are several other titles with price changes from one day to next. Don't know if this fluctuation is related to stock market (just kidding) but Iweekly still has one of the lowest prices around. Just wanted to share my observation about their fluctuating pricing.
