You can blame retailers all you want, blame the manufactures, even the actors, but not much will improve. A country with 1.2 Billion people with not enough food and land, movie business is luxury.
Prem The Villian Chopra <- Indian People Are Not Bad! It’s the circumstances.[/quote]
When i criticized "indian dudes" i meant the american people, of presumably, indian descent at american companies like Nehaflix, Eros, Asian, Spark etc etc. that sell or manufactures indian dvdfilm. I criticized them as 99 % of all other people here at the forum seems to do.
What does the fact that American Company Nehaflix (among others) purposedly sends out damaged and "maybe pirated" goods and charging full price, got to do with the fact that India does have many poor people and slums in cities (like Calcutta)?
It sounds a bit too fatalistic that all people of Indian descent around the world are doomed to be untrustable and even criminal, but you have given me your views of the reason hereof and they were interesting to read, thanks. I didn't know that corruption and greed, as you say, were the guidelines for indian business, but i've seen some other on this forum expressing this views.
But i start to think you may be right. If i order from, let's say Nehaflix, and i tell them that i have a shop and will make big orders on a regular basis in the future. That this first order is a test order and i badly need the dvds in mint condition and well packaged, and they still send out lots of damaged goods (and also maybe pirated) then something clearly is wrong. Not even Nehaflix can be this stupid, loosing all future business with all it's (for them) profit, so, maybe they are doomed and do have this "indian" burden of ineptitude as you say?
But i doubt it. India can and will be a great asian economic power (they already are big in the computer field with many european companies using indian highly qualified computer staff), just get rid of the caste system definitely and there's no limits for your country
