I spend $60-70 every week for Indian DVDs. I am a malayalee, but I buy telugu, tamil, and hindi movies. I tried a lots of site to buy movies from.

My Top choice to buy Tamil, and Malayalam is

http://www.themahal.com - if you spend over $50 dollers, the shipping is free. Their shipping services is fast with fedex. They will also will provide you with a tracking number.

http://www.1800imall.com is also a good online site for tamil, and malayalam. I never bought a telugu dvd from them, because I don't believe that they have original prints. I bought over 15 hindi DVDs from them, and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them was fake. Their Tamil, and Malayalam DVDs are original with company logo.

http://www.moviexpress.com is good for buying telugu dvds, Their shipping is fast with tracking numbers. Also, the shipping charge for 3 dvds is only $2.00.

indiaweekly.com as u know is the best for hindi movies. The one thing I hate abt them is that they have high shipping charge and handling fees. The dvds are always original (at least I think) and always on a good quality. I like their customer service also. Fast reply, and fast service.

http://www.indofilms.com is not doing business as they did before. Their service is also pretty good.

The two sites you don't wanna buy movies from are,

http://www.evpdvd.com and http://www.anytamil.com

EVPDVD.COM is the WORST online SITE I EVER RUN INTO. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, or I should say NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. U can email them, phone them, but it will always bounce, or u will never get a reply.

ANYTAMIL is also very bad on their customer service.

I hope you guys will have some more sites, and experiences to add here.

Just found this old thread while looking for something.

Well, my one shopping experience with ANYTAMIL was a good one.

True, their homepage is one of the worst on Earth, the navigation there nearly painful, but their customer service handled a minor issue that I had with them in a fast, polite and efficent manner.

Don't even think about renting from Desi Company. Very bad customer service. I rather drive 100 miles to get DVD's which i want than to rent from Desi Company.
