Satyajit Ray, Bangali filmmaker and among the dozen or so great masters of world cinema, is known for his humanistic approach to cinema. They are about things that make up the human race - relationships, emotions, struggle, conflicts, joys and sorrows. His films demonstrate a remarkable humanism, elaborate observation and subtle handling of characters and situations.
Best known for his The Apu Trilogy that includes Pather Panchali (Song of the little road, 1955), Aparajito (The Unvanquished, 1956) and Apur Sansar (The World of Apu, 1959).

Stay away.

The retailer has crap service, the print quality of the movies (that I've seen) is pretty dire anyway, and on top of that, these aren't even the original Indian VCDs - they are replicated from the originals.......

I have the Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne VCD - can post screenshots if anyone is interested.
