Thanks for letting us know of the suspicious DVDs. Knowing that there is something suspicious about the available EROS-DEI DVDs, which version should we prefer??

The only thing I care about is whether the DVD quality is as good or better than the now extinct DEI-EROS label. We all know that the EROS-B4U DVDs are inferior to the same title EROS-DEI label. Thanks to Faddy for mentioning that the Audio and Video on these questionable DVDs is the same as the old time EROS-DEI label. This is GOOD ENOUGH for me as they are better than the present day genuine DVDs (I don’t care about the packaging or covers). It is really a shame that even anamorphic HAHK from EROS-B4U is not as good as non-anamorphic EROS-DEI of the same movie (Comparison screen shots are posted in one of the threads).

We shouldn’t be encouraging piracy. But in the case where the rights owner is not bothered about giving good DVDs and Pirate Copies are Better Than Original, doesn’t it encourage piracy??

How do we know, whether the DVD maker, really has the right to make and sell these DVDs??
My experience: In the early 80s, I had bought “Original” VHS (Esquire) of a Movie. I had paid $52 for it. A few years later I had a chance meeting with the producer. I got his autographs on the VHS. Later he told me that he had signed on the VHS so as not to disappoint me, but he had never ever given the rights to any one to make VHS copies of that film.

The so called original versions are crap so it does not really matter
