Not worth it at all as IW will put up the same DVDs for $4.99 or $5.99 brand new. Indofilms lists the Fardeen Khan flick Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein for $5.99 used while IW.com has it new for $4.99. Someone must be pretty stupid to buy from there...

Used DVD sales are rip offs! I do want to try DVD's at a low price, but at the same time, not used ones!

There is a chance that you will get damaged discs when you buy used, particularly if the discs are ex-rentals, but I've bought used American DVDs without problems. I inspect the discs before I buy from Blockbuster, but I trust the discs I buy from a local independent chain to be of good quality. I would be wary of buying used Indian DVDs, though, since the rate of rotted discs is abnormally high. Definitely don't buy used copies of known rotters.

When you think of it, Indian DVD's are already in a bad quality, and I don't trust these used DVD sales, mixed with pirated DVD's, as well as messed up DVD's that people couldn't take care of. Really, who'd give up a DVD only if they didn't like it or if it had some errors on it?

I'm in the same category as FILMI BUFF. I sent 5 emails asking why it took 7 days to send another DVD and never got a response. I finally gave up and now am cancelling their monthly service. It's useless to me if they don't know what customer service is. And to think I actually recommended this bucket of spit site to a friend. I'll see him tomorrow and tell him to cancel also.
