I live in the Uk and want to get dvds and think India weekly are quite reasonable in terms of their prices, just wondering if anyone in the uk has bought from them and whether or not they are good e-tailers. How long is their shipping time roughly to the uk and how do they come as i would like to avoid custom charges

hi... welcome to the forums.. Indiaweekly is an excellent provider of indian DVDs for people in the UK, each DVD costing approx £10 each.. but remember when ordering order about 4 to 7 dvds in one go to make it worthwhile.. i only use indiaweekly for my DVDs... and have used them upmteen times... one drag i have against them at this moment in time, is that there new release DVDs have increased in price substanitally recently.. which is a bit of a bitch really

Also a lot of their dvds are dirt cheap compared to uk, some i know like baba should be avoided.....any others?

I'm thinking about ordering loads of old films which seem to be done mainly by WEG and videosound

Indiaweekly are generally really good, I tend to order most of my DVDs from there now, and I generally get them within 3 -4 days. As for the DVDs you mentioned, well, the WEG and Videosound DVDs are generally just about watchable. If you mention the particular titles that you want, some of us are bound to have those DVDs, and we can provide screenshots if you like.

With the older DVDs from Indiaweekly, I do get them regardless of quality, just because they're so cheap!!! I just got Suhaag (AB) for $4.99 - if you add the $2 handling charge, then its $6.99, about £5!!
