3. Intemission/Interval missing.

Review:
Notes:
Reasonably well made movie. Tight and gripping. Milan Luthria has outdone himself, hopefully his future films will further raise the bar, rather than go back to his 'Kache Dhaage' days. Background score and a couple of songs are very good. What I did not like is the glorification of underworld kingpins, almost making them out to be heroes and role models.
DNR galore, straight out of Madame Tussuad's. Totally destroys an otherwise fine blu-ray. I have been personally assured by Mr. Chandna that any DNR issues are not of his company's doing, as they have simply encoded the master provided, as is without any re-processing.
One of the better surround sound mixes for a song, in the 'Parda Parda - Duniya Mein/Piya Tu' song.
Extras although SD are 16:9. Good to see BIG and Digital Entertainment including extras when space permits, as in this case.

Thank you for good review.
Actually I worried about the PQ, because the picture of Kangna's face is so horrible.
She looks like a spider what I saw yesterday. (yes, 50% kidding, 50% of my 2 cents)
(Sorry Kangna, that might not be your fault. It seems product authoring problem  )

Do we know who are these idiots screwing up the source? I see a pattern starting with Rajneeti, must be the same company who is responsible for the DI.

Saw this last night. Firstly, the movie. I thought it was pretty poor all round with nothing characters and a scattershot all over the place directorial style. Did like the picturisation of 'Pe Loon' and one early scene involving a young Shoaib getting caught.

As for the disc, PQ varies from scene to scene, some closeups have DNR galore but they mainly seem to relate to Kangna's scenes. Other scenes are nice and filmic while a lot of the long shots have EE. Way too inconsistent on the PQ front but not a disaster. AQ is nice but the songs are much louder than the rest of the mix (a problem with a lot of bollywood dvds and BDs). 'Pe Loon' sounds great.
