Just heard directly from Muzlim Kapasi at 'Excel Home Videos'. For those who may not be familiar with 'Excel Home Videos', they are the one's who released the really nice and very successful, 'Special Collector's Edition DVD' set of 'Lagaan', under license from Sony Films, with the blessings and participation of Aamir Khan. They are also, who Aamir Khan turned for help while mastering the DVD for his own 'Taare Zameen Par', even though T-Series were the actual home video distributors of 'Taare Zameen Par'.

Blu-ray of Lagaan is being encoded in 1080p and 5.1 HD Master Audio. All of the DVDs bonus features, including the National Award winning Documentaries in 2-Disc BD50s. Plus there is some material being reviewed and debated for additions into the Blu-ray- it will take some time...
