@Sunny - Were you responsible for authoring Aadhavan BD. If yes, I am doing a blind buy, if not I am going to wait till the reviews are out. Please keep me posted. Much appreciated. Thanks

Aadhavan was approved by myself. The picture quality represents the actual DI 2K file of this film.

The action & song sequences (which the producer spent a lot of money on) look stunning on blu-ray.

The actual screenplay of the film is shit. A major disapointment from Surya (you're better off with Ayan BD)

Is it normal that Unnai Pol Oruvan Blu-Ray isn't out yet? (Before Aadhavan)

Ayngaran does it again, releasing crappy films on Blu-ray. I thought Unnai Pol Oruvan will be the next blu-ray from Ayngaran. But they released Adhavan blu-ray. I am eagerly waiting for UPO.

Good movies on Blu-ray:
Shivaji
Pokkiri
Ayan (I liked this for songs)

Total waste on blu-ray (Not the quality of the blu-ray, but the movie )
Villu
Billa
Kuruvi
Adhavan
Kandhasamy

I think if Ayngaran includes the songs from these crappy films on their Digital Isai Thendral Blu-ray, I might buy it. Only songs are good in these movies.

^ It's a shame that the marketing department of Ayngaran doesn't do a good job in updating their website regarding new releases. Seems both Aadhavan BD and Unnaipol Oruvan BD got released together. Unfortunately, loyal customers have to wait to order Unnaipol Oruvan BD. But in the p2p world, it is already available! :( Pathetic! No wonder, their BD sales are down!

Thanks, I am going to call the local retailer, and find out if they have it. From the other postings initially, I thought they are going to release both Tamil and Telugu version in one blu-ray.

^I think its a single BD with both Telugu and Tamil movie options. I guess its just a marketing gimmick that they posted both as separate discs. In a way this type of marketing is not good as they hide the facts. Someone who wants both will end up buying 2 2-in-1 discs.

Has anyone ordered from Ayngaran? Their service is appaling. It's been 10 days since I placed the order and they are still processing the order. These DBAGS should be happy to bag some new customers, all I can do is shake my head!!!

I dont know what Ayngaran does, they suck when it comes to online ordering. When I made my first order, I have no clue what they did, my bank actually canceled my credit because they detected a credit card fraud from UK, they thought my card was stolen. Now whenever I have to order from them I need to call my bank so that they dont end up canceling my card.

I ordered the Aathavan Blu-ray from Ayngaran 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received the Blu-ray. It is taking them a lot more longer than usual. I wonder what is going on?..

Not sure why the delay - as I don't deal with the retail side of Ayngaran. It might be best to e-mail charles@uk.ayngaran.com maybe he can help you.

It took me close to a month to get the Blu-Ray from UK to US. You should call them to get the tracking number form them. Thats what I do everytime I order.
