If you look Enthiran in wikipedia, it says that "Ayngaran International released the film in various parts of Europe and it will also be responsible for the production and distribution of the film in Blu-ray Disc and DVD." Can someone or Sunny confirm this..

I can confirm that Ayngaran doesn't have the rights for blu-ray.

Sun Pictures will most likely release this film themselves.

Will you Assist Sun pictures in authoring the Bluray?
i hope the contrast boost wont be present. All SUN channels have contrast boost which results in the loss of image details

I doubt Sun Pictures will ask me. If they did I would think about it.

Have you been approached for the blu-ray project yet? Anyway, does Ayngaran gonna let go the rights to someone else?

I was hoping for Ayngaran to come out with Endhiran Blu-ray. Disappointed.

The BIGGEST hit Indian movie to date - "3 Idiots", has been stuck with, arguably, the worst authoring seen by us. So, don't hold your breath for an earth-shattering Endhiran BD. If it ain't Ayngaran and Sunny, it doesn't ring any bells in my book. I am like the rest of you - I want a quality product, But, at this point in time, I can only hope for the best and prepare for the worst! :?

Dear Mr Dev;
I am Aditi from Sun Pictures. Please let me know what you would you like to know regarding the blue ray launch. Is there a commercial interest on the same?

Thanks
Aditi

Endhiran DVD will release as 2 disc version. Disc 1 = Dolby 5.1 / Disc 2 = DTS 5.1
The DVD was made from the intermediate negative.
No Special features are included. No deal could be reached to obtain them or the DPX file.
Personally, I would wait for the blu-ray from Sun Pictures (as it will be made from DPX with HD sound).

I am still planning to get the Ayngaran dvd. Could you please give me an estimate when this will be released? The Aditi from Sun pictures can't even spell Blu-ray correctly. So I am not going to have high hopes for this.

DVD from IN for a film that went through DI??? Does not make sense! I wish these Idiot Indian producers would get all their ducks in a row when it comes to the technical issues for their DVDs and Blu-Rays.

does this mean a possibility of the Blu-ray releasing first before the Ayn DVD?
in that case, i suppose it is a tactic used by Sun to boost its bluray sales..
