I don't know any US retailers. You might have to contact Ayngaran about that.

Also, I'm aware of Shankar re-hashing his "Corruption" theme but then again many filmmakers do repeat a theme (Capra, Ford, Kurosawa, Ozu). He tried to a different film with Boys and Jeans, but considers them to be his weaker films. He therefore decided to become a producer for different genre of films ranging from Kadhal, Kallori, Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, Veyil and Arai Enn 305-il Kadavul.

Lol  I like that!

Also, do you know if the Blu-ray will be available in India? I may be going to India in early 2009. I doubt it will be sold there but maybe it will be cheaper to get it in India.

My next blu-ray project will be Robot - with Ayngaran. This will be a very different Shankar film....trust me...

Robot combats robo-corruption!

Is sad to hear that no-one will stock it. Ayngaran are trying to convince retailers to support blu-ray. Many are not convinced.
At present only Ayngaran Stores and website will have it. I will speak to EROS soon and ask for thier help to stock this on thier wesbite.

Also, I've requested top HD review sites (DVDBeaver, DVD Talk and digital Bits) to review this disc. Hopefully, they will respond.

When will the Blu-Ray be available in Ayngaran Canada?

How long would it take for delivery, if we order online?

Thank you so much Sunny. Looking forward to your future Blu-Ray projects :D

The disc is here. I suspect the disc is mastered at 24fps instead of the standard ~23.98 which causes problems with my video processor (dropped frames). Does anybody else have problems with dropped frames?

The DI was done in 24fps instead of 23.98.

Sadly, its a common mistake made on many Tamil films. Aegan (Ayngaran's own production) is the first to resolve this.

Since the DI of Sivaji was 24fps, I felt that we should do the blu-ray the same method.

As for the dropped frames, the disc went through a quality check process in London by the same media company the BBC uses. According to thier report none were detected during this process. If you find any any give me a timecode example and I will refer this to the company.
