Ayngaran's preview with a new screenshot...

http://www.ayngaran.com/bluray.php

No release date, but will include "new and improved English subtitles" - so they say. Let's hope so.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Are they going to re-release their older films on BR? Probably depends on sales of Sivaji!?!

Imho, sivaji, is another of those Shankar's NON SENSE regressive films, not worth a try. I am through with my excitement after watching on regular dvd. Only films, from suth, I might consider are Hindustani, peck on the cheek, KK, Sapnay, Bombay, to name a few.

To be honest Arsh, normally some of the Rajnikant's south films, I gave a pass mainly because I cannot stand them.
I liked this one, maybe Rajni was a little annoying but I did like the script important of all

Sivaji is not a perfect film...but Shankar's anti corruption screenplay's are always intresting. His style reminds me of Frank Capra.
I look forward to Robot...which has been his dream project for over 10 years. Shooting for that commences next month at Machu Picchu (Peru).

indeed! same corruption with different every time, naive script than before.

My introduction to his corruption theme started with hindustani, that despite flashy style, urmi/manisha loose ends excelled imho, on strong performance by Kamal. I do not know what was his track before this corruption drama.

It has been down the drain then.
