Anything on this release? Would love to hear that there are some special features like deleted scenes! Mani cut so much out of the movie.

ps. and please. No lame jokes of cutting Ash out of the movie. She was one of the highlights for me.

@Pemb a highlight  I can name several actresses who would have played it better
my fav Pooja Umashankar.
Much prettier face (Ash has a stone cold mimik) and she can really act well , watch her in some tamil movies like Naan Kadavul, also saw her in Oram Po and Ullam Ketkumae.
Also the few scenes of Priyamani shows she has 10 x much talent then Ash.
After all the talk that she was dubbing herself in Tamil too , she wasn´t. She was dubbed.

@Zoran 009 Why do you want a dubbed hindi or english version?
Tamil with engl. subs are enough.
If you want Hind watch Raavan
or if you want Telugu watch Villain.
The Villain DVD doesnt have a play all Song menu and you cannot go back to the song menu

I am sure Ayngaran gives us a treat of BR and DVD.

Man, I'm glad Ayngaran's Blu-Rays are excellent but they need a graphic design department. The original poster was so beautiful and the DVD cover is...not.

Raavanan has just finished encode. I need to get it QC'ed by my tech team. Only then can we begin replication. This won't be done until late Nov 2010. Sorry.

We will not be adding a song menu or play all song option....ever for DVD or blu-ray.

BBFC guidelines means we would have to pay an additional fee as the "play all song option" constitute a separate video programme. Since our budget for the blu-ray is tight I feel it would be better to spend that money on the main feature film quality.

Next year I plan to move all our Blu-ray operations onto a BD-JAVA (BD+) platform...which will allow you to create the playlist yourself - and thus bypassing the BBFC rule (without breaking it).

Is there not a way to add such a menu and have the buttons reference the songs in the main feature rather than re-encoding them as a separate video programme? And does this mean that UK DVD producers would have to pay an additional fee for every extra (making-of, deleted scenes, etc.) on a disc?
